Day School Director

My name is Lisa Newman. My husband’s name is Shaun. We have four children Samantha (27) who is married to Jared and is expecting our first grandbaby in June, Christian (26), Adam (20), and Savannah (18). I love spending time with my family. We enjoy going to the beach, taking vacations together, and just hanging out playing games. My husband and I try to take a trip once a year and try something new. We’ve had fun going on a dune buggy ride through the desert in Nevada, taken a helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon, and we’ve been ziplining in Cancun.

I’m going on my 12th year at Forest Hills. I taught in the toddler room for 6 ½ years, taught in the two-year-old room for 3 years, been assistant director for 2 ½ years, and now have the privilege of being the director of this wonderful Day School. I love the children of our school. I love watching them grow from the time they start all the way through graduation. I love the sparkle and excitement in their eyes when they learn something new. They are so precious and I count it a privilege to be a small part of their lives.
