OVERVIEW OF DAY SCHOOL

We are a licensed childcare provider in the state of Tennessee. Our mission is to provide each child a safe, secure, loving, and nurturing environment, in which to learn through developmentally appropriate play. In partnership with families and the church, we foster an interest in learning by serving the developmental needs of the whole child: social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and academic, so that they are prepared for their next school environment. Through the teaching of Christian values, children are educated and affirmed toward responsible behavior and positive character development by means of diverse programs, administered with the love of Christ.

CREATING LEARNING EVERY DAY

Our daily schedules and lesson plans are posted in each classroom and they are aligned with the TN Early Learning Developmental Standards. Each day is structured around discovery and creative learning. Children participate in various age-appropriate activities that enhance and promote gross and fine motor skills, language development, creative expression, emotional development, letter and number recognition, and writing.

CHAPEL

At chapel we worship God together through engaging in prayers, praising God through songs, hearing God’s story, and learning about the love of Jesus Christ. We pray that each child may experience God’s grace and love as we worship, learn, and grow together in chapel throughout the year.

MUSIC

Exposing children to music in early development helps them learn sounds and the meaning of words. Music and Movement will provide children the opportunity to explore rhythm, melody, dance and creative expression. Not only will children learn the fundamentals of music but their developmental skills, social skills and self expression will be enhanced. By using creative and original songs, children love exploring the joys of music.

AND MORE…

In addition to our daily schedules, we offer a variety of special events for the children throughout the year: Halloween parade, Christmas program, Easter egg hunt, Nashville Public Library Puppet Shows, community visitors such as the Metro Mounted Horse Patrol and Metro Fire Department, and a graduation ceremony.

FAQs

Every year, during our registration in January, we start a new waiting list. Those on the waiting list from the previous year do not move to the new list automatically. If a spot becomes available before the school year starts, or during the year, we will call you if you are next on the list. Though we cannot predict when and what spot will become available, we do turn to our waiting lists every school year.
