Sensing a desire to grow or to find more peace in your spiritual life? We’d love to walk with you as we learn from stories of scripture and followers of Jesus throughout time. Not sure where to begin? Start here.
We’ve created a tool to help you self-assess where you are in your spiritual walk – both to celebrate where God’s grace has already been at work in your life, and to prayerfully reflect on an area where you’re sensing a desire to grow.
Use this tool anytime. You can revisit it later. Take some quiet time to think and pray about it. If you’d like a conversation partner, we’d be honored. Contact us here.
Knowing where to turn for trustworthy spiritual resources is tough! We’ve compiled a list of our go-to recommendations for those just beginning to explore their spirituality all the way through the most mature disciples. It includes spiritual practices and books – many of them are available for check out in our church library (visit the church office M-Th from 9-12 for directions). This list pairs well with our Disciple Growth Quiz, which will guide you to the sections which will be most helpful for you today.
We teach 6-8 week courses each spring and fall. See below for the Spring 2025 course offerings.
Disciple Growth Characteristics: Worship, Ordering Time and Money
Dates/Time: Monday Nights at 6:30 PM // April 7 – May 19
Teacher: John McAtee
Course Description: Based on James K.A. Smith’s book You are What You Love: The Spiritual Power of Habit, we will explore what it means to worship God, not just for an hour on Sunday morning, but throughout the week. We will examine how who and what we worship shapes our hearts. In so doing, we will seek to make sure we are aligning our lives toward the One who created us out of love, for love. We will learn the purpose of the liturgies we use on Sunday mornings and how to transfer that into practices that shape us throughout the week.
